Trudeau apologizes after Parliament recognized man who fought with Nazis
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has apologized on behalf of Parliament and Canada for the fact a veteran who fought for the Nazis was applauded after a parliamentary address by Ukraine's president next week. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre earlier urged Trudeau to apologize for the incident, which the prime minister has acknowledged was deeply embarrassing for the country. (Sept. 27, 2023)
