Honda is set to build an electric vehicle battery plant next to its Alliston, Ont., assembly plant, which it is retooling to produce fully electric vehicles. Honda Global CEO Toshihiro Mibe says Canada is an attractive environment for the company, while Japan's ambassador to Canada Kanji Yamanouchi says Canada is a strong ally in fighting climate change.
