B.C. library creates buzz with bee lending program
Patrons at the West Vancouver Memorial Library are abuzz over a loan program of mason bees that come complete with their own bungalow. Program organizer Taren Urquhart says the bees are gentle pollinators that are easy to raise around kids and pets, and their lending is creating a network of environmental stewards.(Mar. 23, 2024)
