Blair blames CSIS for not passing along MP threat
Bill Blair is blaming Canadian Security Intelligence Service director David Vigneault for the fact he didn't receive a 2021 memo warning about the alleged targeting of Conservative MP Michael Chong and his family by a Chinese diplomat. He says the information was never shared with him or his staff, and the director determined it was not information the former public safety minister needed to know. (June 1, 2023)
