Canada reflects on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Indigenous and political leaders, residential school survivors and others across the country marked Canada's second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday. There were powwows and public ceremonies to remember children who died while being forced to attend residential schools, as well as those who survived, and the families and communities still affected by lasting trauma.
