For a girl the top choice was Diana, named after Harry's mother Princess Diana, and for a boy the names Albert and Arthur were popular guesses. The announcement came hours after the proud parents posed for cameras. Thousands of people commented on social media on the announcement, with some poking fun at the little royal's name. Many of the comments included references to the Archie comic books. The royal couple have not chosen a grander title for the baby, who is not a prince but could have been named a lord. The infant is the eighth great-grandchild of the Queen, Britain's longest reigning monarch.
