"Avengers: Endgame" is projected for near $1 billion global opening. The Marvel movie is projected to make upwards of $900 million worldwide after it launches. Analysts say up to 1/3 of the intake could be from North American theatres. That number will easily shatter the $640 million previous global opening record for a film set by "Endgame's" predecessor, "Avengers: Infinity War." Analysts add that the only drawback for "Endgame" right now is its lengthy runtime. But despite that, it could take less than seven days for the film to pass $1 billion. Hitting that mark would hinge on how well it does in its premiere at the box office in China. "Avengers: Endgame" hits theatres on Friday, April 26.
