Newsroom Ready: Goodale says feds will defend against any legal action from Tori Stafford killer
PPublic Safety Minister Ralph Goodale says the federal government will defend itself against any legal action from Terri-Lynne McClintic, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2010 for her role in the first-degree murder of eight-year-old Tori Stafford. During question period Tuesday, Conservative MP Glen Motz asked about McClintic, whose transfer to an Indigenous healing lodge was reversed following a public outcry last year.
