Newsroom Ready: Conversion therapy law shouldn't limit conversations: O'Toole
Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole says his party opposes conversion therapy because of the harms that it causes to those who are subjected to it. He said the debate in Parliament on the law to ban conversion therapy is about whether the bill will address that harm in a way that helps those affected or not and to guarantee that the law doesn't ban conversations on the issue.
