Newsroom Ready: Bloc leader accuses Tories of holding up assisted-dying legislation
Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet is accusing the federal Conservatives of holding up new legislation on medical assistance in dying. Blanchet alleges the hold-up is because of divisions within the Conservative party on the issue, and says he will support the Liberals if they seek to cut off debate to move the bill forward.
