Newsroom Ready: COVID-19 outbreak in Kashechewan 'increasingly alarming': Miller
Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller says there are 232 active cases of COVID-19 in the northern Ontario community of Kashechewan First Nation, most are children under 12 who can’t be vaccinated, and teenagers who have either not been vaccinated yet or have only had one dose. Miller says many resources are being provided to help the community bring the outbreak into control.
