Health officials say Canada has capacity to share vaccines
Deputy chief public health officer Dr. Howard Njoo says Canada can "walk and chew gum at the same time" when it comes to vaccinating its population against COVID-19 and sharing doses with lower-income countries. Joelle Paquette, a director at Procurement Canada, says the country has secured more than 400 million doses of vaccines and vaccine candidates so it is in a position where sharing doses is possible.
