O’Toole supports intellectual-property waiver on COVID-19 vaccines
Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole says he supports a temporary waiver to the global rules that guard vaccine trade secrets to make it easier for developing countries to produce their own COVID-19 vaccines. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government has agreed to take part in World Trade Organization talks on the waiver, but has stopped short of voicing support for the measure itself.
