Newsroom Ready: Family of woman killed in Edmonton hotel say justice has been served
A judge sentenced Ontario trucker Bradley Barton to 12 1/2 years in prison for killing Cindy Gladue, a 36-year-old Métis and Cree woman, in his Edmonton hotel room a decade ago. Gladue’s family say justice has served but the heartache will live on. Barton’s lawyer, Dino Bottos, said outside the courthouse Barton will be appealing his conviction.
