Defence Minister Anita Anand says she is looking forward to working with Gen. Wayne Eyre, who has been made permanent commander of Canada’s Armed Forces. He is officially replacing Admiral Art McDonald, who voluntarily stepped down during an investigation into a sexual misconduct allegation that resulted in no charges, and who has now begun the process of voluntarily retiring from the military.
