B.C. premier participates in conference call with PM
B.C. Premier John Horgan says a conference call between the premiers and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau focused on the COVID-19 virus. He says Trudeau assured the premiers health resources to combat the pandemic, which includes masks and respirators, will be provided to the provinces on their need and not a per-capita basis. He says the federal government and provinces also discussed ways to help workers and employers protect their health and their livelihoods during the pandemic. Horgan says he told Trudeau the federal government needs to pay more attention to controlling entry points, which includes airports, border crossings and ferry terminals.
