Poultry plant outbreaks increase B.C.'s COVID-19 cases
Health Minister Adrian Dix says two COVID-19 outbreaks at Vancouver-area poultry plants are linked to the majority of the 55 new positive cases reported Tuesday. Dix says the increases of positive COVID-19 cases at the now closed Superior Poultry and United Poultry plants continue to show the need for extra vigilance at workplaces. Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported two deaths, bringing B.C.'s total number of deaths to 105 people.
