Kamloops faces difficult decision of exhuming remains at residential school site
It's been one year since the shocking discovery of an unmarked burial ground at the former residential school at Kamloops, B.C. School survivor Garry Gottfriedson says he's torn about next steps: dig or leave the site undisturbed, but is leaning towards doing the work necessary to bring home the remains of up is believed to be 215 children. Kamloops Chief Rosanne Casimir says the nation is working on a "exhumation to memorialization" process.
