Long-term care residents, health care workers among first to be vaccinated in Canada
Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization Friday issued a refined priority list for who should get a COVID-19 vaccine first. Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says the first six million doses Canada expects to receive this winter should be enough to cover the people on that list which includes long-term care residents and staff, people over the age of 80, front-line health workers and adults living in Indigenous communities.
