Health Minister Patty Hajdu says the government is willing to work with the Conservatives on providing oversight of federal decision-making during the pandemic, but argues an Opposition motion would overburden officials responding to COVID-19. The Conservatives want a sweeping probe by the House of Commons health committee into a host of issues relating to the government’s handling of COVID-19.
