Unvaccinated health-care workers cause operating room closures in B.C.
Surgeries are being postponed in B.C. as 3,325 unvaccinated acute health-care workers are put on unpaid leave, resulting in staff shortages across the province. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says if some people are dogmatically against vaccination and don’t recognize its importance, then health-care is probably not the right profession for them.
