Newsroom Ready: Trudeau says he’s confident EV dispute with U.S. can be resolved
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he remains confident that Canada will be able to resolve its dispute with the United States over proposed tax credits for U.S.-assembled electric vehicles. In an interview with The Canadian Press, Trudeau said the federal government won’t sit by and allow the U.S. to eliminate a vital part of Canada’s economy — one he believes has a “really important future.”
