Newsroom Ready: Green leader asks party execs for ‘space to unify’, tells PM to ‘back off’
Green Leader Annamie Paul is asking party brass and the prime minister to give her "the space to unify" the party ahead of a general meeting that could serve as a referendum on her leadership. Paul says some members of the Greens' governing body have made offensive and inflammatory accusations against her, and that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also needs to "back off" after Green MP Jenica Atwin defected to the Liberals last week.
